Binge watching this show on Netflix like it's going out of style. I am well aware that we are SO late on this, but I kind of like it when we are late to the game. That means I can watch episode after episode with no fear of having to wait a week to find out what happens in the next episode.

I cant stop singing/listening/humming this song! So good!
4. Revlon ColorStay Overtime Lip Color in Unlimited mulberry
I need a long wearing lip color. I don't like super matte liquid lipsticks because they make my lips feel so dry! However, this long lasting lip stain doesn't make my lips feel dry at all. I do exfoliate my lips prior to application and put on a lip conditioner, which is an absolute must with this stuff.
It lasts all day, it looks pretty, and TC loves that it doesn't get all over his face when I kiss him!

I have YET to find a "holy grail" mascara. I think the problem is that I'm too picky. I have the straightest eyelashes known to man. Here's the thing, my lashes do curl, they are long, but I just want MORE! Anyway, I hate the name of this mascara, but it is good! I found myself reaching for it ALL month long. Here's what the product claims:

One night I noticed a guy and his friend at table 53. It wasn't my section, but I knew the moment I looked at TC that I was going to marry him. I told the girl working that section "I don't know who the guy is at table 53 but I'm going to marry him"! That girl and I still laugh about that moment today! It sounds crazy- trust me I know. What's crazier is that I have never been like that in my entire life. I've always been VERY picky, very meticulous, very sure of everything I did. Type-A is an understatement. I always had a plan. I knew what I wanted, but here I am staring at this STRANGER thinking "I have no idea who that guy is, but I'm going to marry him". Now, it might have been just because I honestly think TC is the best looking person in the world, and I mean that.. but there was something about him. So after I gathered my thoughts, and in true carol fashion, planned a way to go over and talk to him. I grabbed the beers being ordered for his table and walked over and I said, "Are you even old enough to be drinking this?" and.. to my surprise, he said.. "Are you even old enough to work here?" Such sass!! I was so shocked and embarrassed, I just laughed and walked away.
Weeks later, we went on our very first date.
I am a planner.
I am type A.
I am NOT impulsive.
I did not believe in love at first sight.
I love TC with every ounce of my being, and there is no other person I would rather grow old with.
I believe God had a greater plan for my life, than I had for myself...
I am so thankful,
and I am so uninterested in a life without TC.

I decided to post today rather than Wednesday, so that TC can have my full undivided attention.
I tell yah, we really like each other!
Confession, I have too many Kimonos for my own good.
I just love them! Super effortless and most of them add a pop of color to any outfit.

Happy Monday!

TC got me the most beautiful GIGI New York Clutch EVER.

We ate breakfast in bed and then got ready for Barre! As I was getting ready I hear TC yell "I think one of your shoe deliveries is here.."
I ran to open the door expecting a package... it was flowers!

The little note said "To my soon to be wife, I love you"... Y'all I almost lost it.

Then I drug TC to a Barre Class! My studio was doing a promotion for Valentines where you are encouraged to bring your significant other! It was so funny! I loved it! My TC does crossfit, and after the class he said "that was pretty tough!" WIN for Carol!

Later we went to the movies and pigged out way to hard. We went to the movies to do something while we waited for dinner. We had reservations at Flemmings. Well.. after the movie we were both stuffed from popcorn and candy and decided to cancel the fancy dinner. We like hanging out on our couch together so much more than dressing up and being proper!
We did a late night run to Randall's for my favorite wine (Nine Points-a Stags Leap wine)
and then picked up Chinese take out.

This is our fifth Valentines!
Our 5 year anniversary is February 25th, however we were "dating" for a month or so prior.
We usually keep it pretty casual for Valentines, just because we like to do it big on our Anniversary!
However, in true TC fashion.. he blew my socks off, he always does.
I don't like to "brag", but my man makes it easy.
Loving him is easy.

Happy Baby Friday (Thursday)!
I have gotten questions regarding some Instagram photos and where I got different pieces from.. SO I decided to do an Instagram round up for y'all!

To continue my "One Last Fling Before Spring" series... I'm really going to miss over-sized sweaters!
One of my favorite things to breakout come fall is a big comfy sweater that I can pair with leggings or dress up with skinnies.

For valentines we're keeping it low key and going to dinner and then maybe seeing a movie. OH and we are also doing a Barre class together! I'm so excited for TC to join me! It's a promotion my barre studio does that allows us to bring our significant other for valentines, which is really cute!

I may have to dress up a little more for our dinner date, it's a fancy-schmancy restaurant.. but during the day I plan on keeping it comfy!

If there is one thing you should know from reading my blog it's that I love comfy.
For valentines we're keeping it low key and going to dinner and then maybe seeing a movie. OH and we are also doing a Barre class together! I'm so excited for TC to join me! It's a promotion my barre studio does that allows us to bring our significant other for valentines, which is really cute!

I hate doing "recap" posts, but with the way my life has been the last couple of weeks.. it's all I have time for!
Y'all, I'm getting married in 65 days.
STOP. That's insane.
Hence, why I haven't been as regular with my posts. I have been GO GO GO non-stop.
I usually shoot on Saturdays and Sundays, because I work full time. I still prep all my posts during the week, but weekends are when I actually go out and shoot the looks.
Let's talk about last weekend..
Saturday I went on a "Day Trip" with some friends. It was a BBQ day trip tour, so basically we went to three different BBQ places in three different towns... heaven!
We visited Highway 29 BBQ, Coopers BBQ, and Opies BBQ. YUM!
We also had Rudy's BBQ breakfast tacos for breakfast and then ended the trip with Bluebonnet Cafe Pie. Yes, I still love BBQ... but no I did not eat the next day. Ha-Ha!
The trip was a lot of fun! We had a blast!

Sunday was the Superbowl, but I also went to see a movie with some of my gal-pals to celebrate February Birthdays. We saw "The Imitation Game", it was so good. Easily one of the best movies I've seen in a while! After the movie we went over to one of my best friends house and watched the game. I'm going to be honest, I just watched the commercials and the half time show... I also hate the Seahawks, so I'm glad they lost.

Lastly,
My Boxer Boy turned 7! Y'all know I am overly obsessed with my dogs, so birthdays for them are a big deal! We celebrated and they came to work with us..it was a great day!
