1. Living Proof Prime Style Extender :// This extends my style for at least 2 days, without touch up. I pull my hair up to sleep at night.. and my curls look flawless the next day. It's not heavy, it doesn't make your hair greasy, and it does the job. Need I say more? This stuff is Holy Grail Status.
2.Rebecca Minkoff Mini Mac :// This bag is my new baby. I have:// this large tote that I lug all of my stuff in during the week, and it works. However, on the weekend, date night, or any other casual get -together I do not need that large and in charge tote. I love the color of this Crossbody, I love the style, and I love the size of this Crossbody. It fits my wallet, phone, and the few make up essentials I keep on me.
3. No surprise here.. how many times can I brag about these booties? I love them! Again, they're easy to walk in, they are adorable, and they are quality. I wear them ALMOST every day, not kidding. I found them in the color I have:// here!
4. Tory Burch Roller Ball Perfume:// I can't stop wearing this stuff. I bought it mid december and I'm ordering the full size as soon as I run out. It's the perfect mix of tomboy and girly, not too floraly and not overpowering at all. The scent last all day, but it's subtle. Like I've said before, i'm sensitive to scents but I wear this everyday.
5. Tarte Blush :// Y'all know... I horde blushes. I have so many it's getting out of control! However, I have reached for this specific blush all month long. I love how pigmented these blushes are! I may never hit pan on these, they're THAT pigmented. The color is beautiful and warms up my cheeks. It's also super versatile, you could easily wear this rosy color in the winter or summer. I do not think they last "12 hours", but they last an entire work day for me.. and that's all that matters.
6. Fossil Dress Chronograph Watch:// Obsessed. This was a christmas gift and I've worn it everyday since. I'm a huge fan of Fossil watches. Honestly, Fossil is the only brand I would ever purchase. This watch is the perfect subtle gold and perfect size. I can't stop wearing it. It's probably one of my favorite Christmas gifts.
Smell yah later, January!

Just Stop. The title alone, I can't.
I love anything boyfriend fit and I especially love distressed denim.
This combo would work for the grocery store, for brunch, or for date night.
Wear the booties and spice it up with girly pieces of jewelry = date night or brunch.. Brunch date? Sounds like heaven!
Pair this with flats and a top knot bun with minimal accessories = Sunday errands or grocery store run.
Keep in mind anything "boyfriend" needs to still be flattering, so don't buy this 3 sizes too big.. unless you plan on sleeping in it.
One of my favorite things to do is shop mens clearance for button downs! They're usually really good quality and an extra small fits great. Too bad TC is a large, or I would totally just wear all of his clothing.
Also, I left my sunglasses in my rental ski jacket when I returned it.. but that's okay, I got a newer pair and they're so shiny and scratch free!
Sometimes you just gotta look on the bright side (get it, sunglasses.. sunlight, bright? HA!)
Big Love & Tuesday Hugs,
-C
(ps. Whoever gets my rental jacket will get sunglasses, chap-stick, and super cute leopard print gloves).
My jeans are sold out, but sold by Necessary Clothing and these are super similar! Use code 2K15 and get 30 percent off! uh what?! Love that!
(shipping took 5 days).

Hello Monday, blek!
Spring is creeping up pretty quickly, at least it is here in Texas.
Usually by march it's hot and I can break out my sandals.
So I decided I'm going to wear all of the fall and winter styles and prints that I love until I can't anymore! That way I don't miss them as much when I retire them for the season.
Yes, this is my logic.
Yes, this is my logic.
Also, I know I've been wearing these booties out.. but they match with everything, they make me taller, and they're so comfortable to wear. It's impossible for me to resist them! I know you guys hate me because they're sold out but I will link a couple similar taupe booties!
Monday Hugs,
-C
My flannel Peplum can be found://here. Size down if you like a more fitted look. This is a medium, I could have gotten the small.
My jeans can be found://here. These jeans have also been hard to resist, they're flattering and comfy!
My booties are Jeffery Campbell- but sold out. As promised, here & here are similar booties. I LOVE the Sole Society version. I may have to purchase them myself.. whoops!

I don't know about y'all, but sometimes my significant other is hard to shop for. I can shop for his clothes all day long, and I know him like the back of my hand. However, when you've been together as long as we have, you start running out of "knock your socks off" gifts.
But if there is one thing I know TC likes, it's traveling.
So for his birthday I decided to plan a trip to Santa Fe.
We decided on a 3 night stay. We left Thursday and drove back Sunday.
The drive is about 10 hours, but if you stop a lot like we did.. it's closer to 12!
We considered flying, but there weren't any direct flights and the flights available would've been 8 hours long! No way Jose! Plus, we wanted to stop in little towns along the way.
Lets get into our trip, I'll caption the pictures along the way.
Ps. Sorry I'm posting a little later than promised,
I am SO busy with wedding stuff and work.

Happy Monday!
I swear the past couple of Mondays have been rough for me. I woke up this morning and couldn't find my wallet. I had a mini panic attack, thinking I left it in Santa Fe.
Thankfully, I found it. Whew, hellloo Monday!
I plan on doing a full post about our weekend trip to Santa Fe tomorrow, but here is a quick outfit post from our trip!
Can we just talk about how there is SNOW under my feet? There was a lot more everywhere else, but these boots + snow = nope.
As always, I'll link everything below. I hope you guys are having a great Monday, stay tuned for more from our trip!

Texas winters are so grey.
Not to mention, it's too wet to shoot anywhere but my backyard!
Not to mention, it's too wet to shoot anywhere but my backyard!
I need color in my life, and this vest.. oh this vest.. it is the perfect pop of color.
I like that this color is a good transition color. It works for the winter, but It would also work for the spring. I could see me pairing this with a teeshirt dress in the spring. I also love the gold detail on the zipper. Oh, and man-oh-man is this vest soft. It isn't heavy or bulky feeling, it's lightweight and easy to wear. I've found myself looking for different ways to wear this vest.. It's just so cute!
Big Love,

Okay y'all.. this flannel :// is from J-Crew... mens. I love their slim fit causal shirts. They fit perfectly, and you can't beat the sales! here get an x-tra 40 percent off with code SHOPNOW. Which makes this shirt about 15 bucks. Like I said, you can't beat it.

Oh it's a Monday!
I dropped my mascara twice between the seat in my car. Have any of you ever done that? It's the worst. I basically had to get out of my car at the coffee shop and dig under my seat to retrieve it!
Anyway!
It's no secret plaid is back, and I'm obsessed. It's so versatile, you can make it masculine by pairing it with leather or make it more feminine by adding girly accessories. For this look I wanted to mix masculine and feminine, so I made it girly with my boot socks and masculine by wearing less accessories. This dress can also be paired with a grey pea-coat or a cute leather jacket. Again, the pea coat makes it more girly, the leather would make it more masculine and edgy. I just love versatile pieces, and this flannel has been my go to lately.
I will link everything below!

Isn't that how the song goes? No?
Anyway,
Sometimes.. just sometimes... I like to dress a little edgy.
When I decide to dress a little tougher, I try to also add in girly pieces to soften the look.
I paired these distressed jeans with a high low shirt and my new favorite jacket.
Finished the look off with my favorite chunky booties and a statement necklace.
**tip, when wearing anything "distressed" wear only one distressed piece. Too many holes and rips would be overkill. Everything in moderation people**
If you'd like a hair tutorial on this hair style, let me know. It's SUPER easy and cute!
I will be working on some more post this week, I don't know if I'll have anything up until Friday, but I'm working on it.
I have a couple of wedding meetings this week.. seeing as how we're 95 days out from the big day!
95!?! that's crazy. We have had a longer engagement (15 months) but it really feels like time has flown by. I'm so excited to marry TC Bravenec. Sorry for the tangent, I hope you enjoy this look!
ps. because 5 is my favorite number, and today makes 95 days.. I included a picture of us.

Is it really Monday? Where did the weekend go?
Anyway, It's cold here in here in ol' Tejas. It's
28 degrees right now... Uh, what? Texans can't get down with all that. I wanted to wear this dress the other day and I had to figure out how to accommodate for the weather. So I paired it with some heavy leggings, a blanket scarf, and a pea coat. Let me tell you, I was as warm as a bug in a rug. I hope this inspires anyone trying to transition their fall dresses into the winter. OH! and this dress is still available at Target. The material is great for this time of year, it will keep you warm for sure! I'm wearing a size small. It's roomy, but so comfy.
(yes, I was cold shooting this! Ha-Ha)
Links are always provided.
