February Favorites

1.Sons of anarchy
Binge watching this show on Netflix like it's going out of style. I am well aware that we are SO late on this, but I kind of like it when we are late to the game. That means I can watch episode after episode with no fear of having to wait a week to find out what happens in the next episode.
I know, I have a problem.
I want good shows, I want them when I want them, and I don't like waiting y'all!

2.Trenta Iced Non-Sweetened Green Tea from Starbucks
 Yes, that is correct... Trenta.

3.Love Me Like You Do- Ellie Goulding

 I cant stop singing/listening/humming this song! So good!

4. Revlon ColorStay Overtime Lip Color in Unlimited mulberry 

I need a long wearing lip color. I don't like super matte liquid lipsticks because they make my lips feel so dry! However, this long lasting lip stain doesn't make my lips feel dry at all. I do exfoliate my lips prior to application and put on a lip conditioner, which is an absolute must with this stuff.
It lasts all day, it looks pretty, and TC loves that it doesn't get all over his face when I kiss him! 

1. Exfoliate/ Moisturize my lips

2. Apply one coat, let it dry

3. Apply a second coat, let it dry

4. Apply the gloss. 

The gloss isn't sticky and annoying like most. Its thin and it dries pretty quickly. 

The downside to this lip stain is, it smells funny for about 3 seconds when you first apply it.
The smell goes away almost instantly, but it does smell funky.

I can not stress this enough; if you do not exfoliate/moisturize, it will look flaky and gross. 

5. Too Faced: Better Than Sex Mascara
I have YET to find a "holy grail" mascara. I think the problem is that I'm too picky. I have the straightest eyelashes known to man. Here's the thing, my lashes do curl, they are long, but I just want MORE! Anyway, I hate the name of this mascara, but it is good! I found myself reaching for it ALL month long. Here's what the product claims:
 "An intensely black, volumizing mascara with an hourglass-shaped brush that separates, coats, and curls each lash to voluptuous perfection" 
It is intensely black. It is volumizing. It does separate my lashes. 
It DOES NOT curl each lash to voluptuous perfection. 

Overall, this is the best mascara I've used yet, and it has been a monthly favorite. I still think there's better out there. 


I know this monthly favorite has been a little wacky, but that's also how my life has been.
