I'll be the first to admit, I slacked on my skin care for years! I used drugstore-cheapy- cleansers that kept my skin clear, but stripped my skin of all the nutrients and goodness that it needed. I was content with whatever kept my skin clear(ish) and didn't break the bank.

However, about a year ago I was on snapchat and I noticed my skin had these little tiny bumps--not acne-- but almost clogged pores? My face appeared clear, but underneath it all  my skin was sensitized and abused! Abused y'all, I said it!
I decided right then and there I had to start taking care of my skin.

I now go in every month and get a facial, I use an organic (but concentrated) skincare line, exfoliate my skin regularly and I protect my skin with SPF (a lot of it!)

With that being said, let's get to the review...shall we?

1. Clairsonic Mia2 I've used this bad boy for a couple years now and I love it! It exfoliates, loosens dirt and gently cleanses my skin. I also like that it's waterproof. I can use it in the shower or at my sink! Side note: I use waterproof mascara, so I always remove my eye makeup with the Almay makeup remover wipes prior to cleansing and exfoliating. These pads are oil free, which is a must for me. I hate the way oil feels on my eyes!
2. Eminence Clear Skin Probiotic Cleanser, Y'all shut-it-down! This stuff is so nice to my skin! This cleansers formula does not contain any water... Meaning, it's entirely concentrated with all organic ingredients that nourish and cleanse your skin! Go to your shower right now, take a look at your cleanser.. I bet its first ingredient is water. This cleanser is so concentrated that you only have to use a pea size amount! It lasts forever and it really cleanses my skin without making it feel stripped!

3. Eminence Calm Skin Moisturizer & Hydrating Gel, I've never had any luck with moisturizers. They always clog my pores and break me out...that is until I found this one! Again, completely concentrated! I use a pea-size amount every night. I always emulsify this product with water and then rub it all over my face and neck. When you wake up, voila', baby smooth moisturized skin! As for the Hydrating Gel, I like to use this one every other day, it's nice and light! Similar to the moisturizer, I always emulsify it with water. Products from the Eminence line are so concentrated, a little goes a long way!
4. Eminence Arnica Booster Serum If you have any dark spots, pigmentation issues or red patches on your skin, do yourself a favor and grab a bottle of this miracle serum. Again, emulsify with water and watch your dark spots or scaring disappear! This serum is a game changer.
5. Jack Black Lip Balm + Sara Happ Lip Scrub Say hello to smooth smoochers! I've tried every single lip balm out there and this is the only one that works for me. The original "mint" formula is my favorite and I love that it's SPF 25! As far as lip scrubs go, the Sara Happ lip exfoliant is my jam!
6. Mario Budescu Drying Lotion If you have a break out, dab a smidge of this on top of it and watch it disappear over night! It really works wonders!
7. Murad Invisiblur Primer (insert hallelujah emoji hands) First, it is silicone based. So if you don't like patting your primer on, skip this. I, however, don't mind at all. It naturally exfoliates your skin and blurs your pores, plus its SPF 30! Y'all, praise jesus himself, this stuff is a godsend! It's also a MASSIVE jar that lasts me at least 6 months (and I use it daily). Worth every penny!
8. Sephora Sheet Masks Be warned, you're going to look like a serial killer with these on... but they're really nice! They don't do anything miraculous for my skin, but after a weekend of fun or a rough night of sleep, these babies are so nice! My favorites are Algae, Rose and Avocado.

I know this was a long post, so thanks for hangin' in there with me.
I hope this answers some of your questions!
Big Hugs
